Wade Tower and Garden Apartments are situated on peaceful grounds in a park-like setting, in close proximity to Route 7 and its many shopping amenities as well as abutting the Stadium Golf Club, an 18 hole public golf course. Schenectady County is home of the GE Global Research and GE Energy and Power Systems. The historic Proctor’s Theater is ± 3.5 miles south. Schenectady is one of the oldest cities in the United States and is approximately 15 miles northwest of downtown Albany.

The Albany International Airport, rated one of the “Best Small Airports in the Northeast” by Forbes magazine (2004), is 8 mile from the property, and the Schenectady Amtrak station is 2.8 mile north. In addition, two accredited colleges are readily accessible from Wade Tower and Garden Apartments including Union College and Schenectady County Community College as well as four hospitals: Ellis, Ellis Satellite, Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Ellis Bellevue Woman’s Center.
